When a book says, Italian Edition, that probably means it’s written in Italian. The English Kindle edition of Daniel Clowes’ graphic novel Patience isn’t out yet. It’s not, it’s really not; but the Italian Kindle edition is. I snapped it up, thinking, “Well, I guess they published the English Kindle first in Italy.”
Yes, I really am that stupid. But I’m also cute and cuddly and have powers and abilities far beyond those of mortal men so it’s ok. I do have an Italian dictionary, but do you know how long it’s been since I’ve read Italian? (You don’t wanna know.) Oh, well. They say The Divine Comedy is worth learning Italian for. Maybe Clowes’ book–itself a great love story–will also be worth it.
