Elizabeth Gilbert Gives A “TED” Talk

For those of us who need some encouragement this Sunday, here it is.  Elizabeth Gilbert, the author of Eat, Pray, Love and The Signature of All Things, gives a TED talk about how she coped with her many failures and persevered in doing what she loved.  Take heart in this, my writing friends.  Take heart.

  1. I love the way she puts it, the “writing is my home” idea, though I do think she makes it sound much simpler than it is. I’ve been struggling with the feelings she describes for a good while now, and this time, I’m finding it more difficult to get back to work, which is what I always used to do in the past. But anyway… An encouraging message nonetheless – thanks for sharing it, John 🙂
