The British Library

If the British Library (formerly the British Museum) is not the premier library in the English-speaking world, it’s in the top five.  This is a long, lovely portrait of one of the finest monuments to human knowledge and creativity ever built, and a sketch of some of the writers and readers who use it every day.  A wonderful Sunday read.
